Bicentennial Decor Circa 1976

Don't get me wrong, peeps, I totally LOVED America's Bicentennial year. I actually graduated from High School in 1976 and I was all about the patriotic look back then, yes, I embraced it. So did my mom. We had brass eagles everywhere you turned, and a little stool in the den with our black naugahide furniture that looked alot like this little gem.

I know, I know . . . . . but last week it found me at The Salvation Army and I had to take it home with me as it needed a makeover . . . badly. Ta Da!

I am totally digging how it turned out! It's now in my office/sewing room with another new treasure from an Estate Sale this weekend that I'll show you later in the week. Lets just say, it involves RED VINTAGE BURLAP. Yup. I know . . . .

I'm also totally embracing the rusty, crusty look outside on the deck and in our yard this summer. If you are too, Take a jaunt over to My Etsy Shop to check out the stash of crusty old garden center clay pots that I found. I love me some Rusty Crusty Junk . . . . . . . Talk Soon!
